When my son was going through a rough time when he was a teenager, God gave me a poem while I was sitting in the car waiting for him to finish his appointment with the counselor. That was in the 1980's. Wow! Years and years ago, I felt the Lord wanted me to turn the poem into a Christmas card. Just this year the final design has come to pass. The poem is a gentle invitation to know the Lord and partake of His comfort, warmth, and gentleness. Pray about who should receive these cards. They have a message that mean something! 10 to a pack.
Christmas Cards that Mean Something
MAY GOD'S GRACE AND WONDROUS WARMTH OF HIS LOVE WRAP YOU UP TIGHTLY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON AND THE COMING NEW YEAR!
Poem on Left Side of Card:
Star light star bright
First star I see tonight.
I pray I may, I pray I might,
Have the strength to set things right.
By your light of grace above,
Only can we see your love
Spread like a couch for others' souls,
Come, rest now from the cold.
Come rest now, He is the light.
Come rest now from the plight,
Of searching for the Bethlehem,
He's here right now just ask Him in.
He'll sit right down upon your couch.
In His arms, He'll calm your doubts.
"I've been here all along," He'll say,
"Come in from the snow this day
And let my light warm your soul.
My name is Jesus, don't you know?"
By the fire, by the warmth,
By the torch of my love
In which you seek.
